Leadership Plain and Simple by Steve Radcliffe

If you google ‘books about leadership’ you get over 100,000,000 results. This has to be one of the most written about topics and that makes life totally confusing if all you want to read is something ‘plain and simple’ that sets you off on the right track (or reassures you that you are already on the right track).

Leadership Plain and Simple does exactly that. As Radcliffe promises in his introduction “this leadership stuff really needn’t be complicated”

He goes on to talk about leadership as three ingredients: Future, Engage and Deliver.

Beneath each one he explains why this ingredient is so important and how you can develop your ability in this area as a leader.

The book is easy to read and is packed full of practical tools and exercises. It is the type of book that you read fairly quickly the first time through - and then dip back into again and again.

A definite recommendation to anyone new to thinking about themselves as a leader or anyone more experienced who wants to cut through the leadership noise.

Quote from the book

leading is a part of all of us. You don’t need a certain IQ or job title to be a leader!
