Who we are

Sharon Collier set up The Leadership School and isa passionate and experienced coach and organisational development specialist with almost 30 years’ experience.  Sharon is an NLP Master Practitioner and MBTI / Firo-B professional. She built a successful corporate career for before setting up her own business; delivering leadership coaching for individuals and teams, facilitating events and providing organisation change support to a range of businesses. Sharon understands the impact great leaders have on their business and the importance of continual personal development. She also understands the reality of life and how easy it is for leaders to not find the time to invest in themselves and therefore the importance of using a realistic, practical and credible approach to leadership development. Sharon has held senior leadership roles in private and charity organisations and has worked in the field of Leadership Development for almost 20 years working with organisations such as Thorntons, RAF, National Trust, McColls and Buckinghamshire County Council



Suzanne Mountain is deeply passionate about leadership development and enabling peak performance. Since the start of her career she has been fascinated with the power of mind-set and its ability to influence the direction and success of our careers she has spent over 25 years identifying and developing talented individuals and leading organisational change in organisations such as Manpower, Microsoft, Whitbread, Sodexo, Thames Water and EMI records




Steve Coulson is passionate about “what gets people out of bed in the morning”. He specialises in values based personal leadership and creating highly performing teams, especially where people are going through significant change. Prior to becoming a facilitator, Steve worked for 25 years in the consumer health care, petroleum and petrochemicals industries and has held executive positions in General Management, Sales, Marketing, Procurement and R&D in the UK and the USA


Richard Cartlidge served in the Royal Air Force as a navigator on Chinook helicopters and his experiences have given him credible insight into the importance of delivery under intense operational pressures. He has transferred his military experience into the non-military workplace and has a track record for realising the potential of individuals and organisation and helping them navigate their journey from A to B
